I know that you missed me:



Well I figured since I haven't posted her in forever that I would come back and make a visit! The holidays were busy as usual with family in and travel happening. I must say, that really put a damper on my workout schedule. Being off of work gives you lots more time to work out and lots less motivation!

We have been at The Heights Fellowship for almost 2 years now and have been amazed with the growth that God has blessed this church with. As soon as we started there, we also started with the Roaring 20's small group. That small group has recently grown in numbers and in turn we have had the opportunity to make great friends there. That is really what small groups are about, to grow in the word and to make great connections with other couples in like situations. I feel really blessed to be part of a really great group and to have had the opportunity to grow with them. We are now starting a study on the book of James and this really excites me and others in our group because it requires us to really study the word. We have been doing more relationship based studies, and while they are really helpful in our marriages, they don't require much study of the text.

Please be in prayer for our group that we would dig in and really find out what changes God requires of our characters that we probably take for granted. Also be in prayer for The Heights as, our growth creates the need for a larger venue. This is really a great problem to have and in fact, I shouldn't even be referring to it as a problem but a blessing.

Bishop I know you are shocked that I am making an entry, but I plan to make this a regular thing!(key word there is plan)
