Wow, a year and a half between posts, not bad... Just an update for anyone who is reading this, even though all of you who do already know all of it, here is what is going on in the Plumlee household:

Leigh Ann and I are adopting a baby girl from China, Brynnlee Faith. We won't actually get her for about 2 and a half more years but we are beyond excited! We have been working on getting all of the paperwork ready and authenticated and that process should be done in the next month or so, as it is in the second to last step now. We took our yearly trip to Telluride over spring break and the snow was awesome, I would say it couldn't have been better, but it always can be.

Now, Leigh Ann is working on trying to get a job closer to Lubbock, even though Ralls has been really great and she loves it, both gas prices and starting a family make it important that she be closer to town. I am still plugging along at ESC 17, it is a great job and I don't plan on leaving any time soon, where else can you mess with new technologies and have the time off I do!

This summer will be crazy as usual, between youth trips and golf(which I am really getting back to this year) we have a fun and busy summer planned.

Just a thought for you:

As we have gone through this adoption process, we have had lots of tough pitfalls that have come our way. Whether it was kidney stones, paperwork snaphoos or just trying to raise money, we have learned that we have to remember who is in charge and not do for ourselves, but do as God leads us to do. Sure, we probably have caused most of the problems by not doing that, but we have also learned lessons along the way.

Psalm 119:35

Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
